RGXperience en Haïti : Rutshelle a assuré !

On February 17, 2024, the NH Haiti El Rancho was alive with the sound of music as the talented Rutshelle Guillaume graced the stage for her RGXperience concert. Celebrating her 10th year in the music industry, the Haitian singer gave a memorable performance in front of a delighted and excited crowd. As the clock struck 11:30, the eager audience waited for the diva to appear. With DJ Valdy playing his mixes in the background, some fans were calmly enjoying the atmosphere, while others were already pushing their way to the front of the stage, eagerly anticipating Rutshelle’s arrival. The stage was beautifully decorated and the lighting created a captivating ambiance, setting the perfect scene for the RGXperience in Pétion-Ville. The event kicked off with performances from Stéphanie Fénélon and the DEG choir, who opened the show with a rendition of Orlane’s “Ayiti pap mouri”. Although some may have been disappointed not to see Rutshelle as the opening act, the audience couldn’t help but appreciate the beautiful performance, accompanied by Blanchard’s captivating mime acts. Soon after, the crowd erupted with cheers and applause as Rutshelle graced the stage, looking stunning in a gown adorned with stones and pearls. The singer began her performance with “Sonje Ayiti”, a fitting song for this special occasion as Rutshelle expressed her joy to be back on her homeland celebrating her 10 years in the music industry. She then continued to captivate the audience with songs such as “Made by God”, “Ou se on melodi” featuring bassist Johnson Saint-Cyr, and “Victorious”. For the latter, she was joined on stage by Veeby, an artist from Cameroon who made the trip to Haiti to celebrate with Rutshelle. The two singers gave a passionate rendition of the song, with a powerful message against violence towards women, accompanied by a beautiful choreography from Equality Dance. After a quick break, Rutshelle returned to the stage dressed in black, and started with “Je suis”, a song from her first album “Emotions”. She then gave a moving performance of “Kite m kriye”, a song that helped launch her career. It was a magical moment as the crowd sang along with Rutshelle, who was visibly touched and emotional. Some may have even thought she was on the verge of tears, but her energetic dancing on the chorus of the song made it hard to tell whether it was part of the show or a genuine emotional outpour. The RGXperience in Haiti was truly a night to remember. Rutshelle’s powerful and soulful voice, combined with her emotional performances, left the audience in awe and wanting more. It was a testament to her talent and dedication to her craft as she celebrated 10 years of success in the music industry. With the support of her fans and collaborators, Rutshelle’s future looks bright, and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next.
